The eight-hour tan routine for a busy training week
Fit fake tan around a busy week with an easy evening routine, eight hours of development and time for your first rinse before training.

Book the window before you reach for the mitt
The best tanning night is the one that fits your actual diary. Look for an evening after your final session, with eight uninterrupted hours and time to rinse before your next workout.
If tomorrow starts with an early run, tonight might not be the night. Move application earlier in the week instead of trying to shorten development.
Your evening plan
Finish training, shower and cool down. Once your skin is dry and prepared, apply your body tan. Let it dry before dressing, then stay cool and avoid water or sweating for eight hours.
For example, an 8 pm application reaches eight hours at 4 am. You don't need to set an alarm unless the label requires rinsing at that exact time; follow the bottle's permitted development period and plan a sensible morning rinse. Don't assume leaving any formula on longer always gives a better result.
What if you sweat accidentally?
Don't panic or immediately add more product. Gently blot moisture without scrubbing. Complete the product's development and rinse instructions, then assess your colour once the full stated development period has passed. Avoid trying to correct colour while it is still changing.
Turn it into a weekly ritual
Keep a loose outfit and clean mitt ready. Put the application time in your diary alongside your classes. Prepare earlier in the week, so tanning night is just application and downtime.
Your schedule doesn't need to revolve around your tan. It needs one well-chosen window.
