BODÈE is a UK based self tan brand made for people who move. You can find us on Instagram and TikTok at @thisisbodee. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.

Where we are. BODÈE is run from St Paul's, London.

Email signups. When you join our mailing list through the discount tab, the Collective form or the footer, we save your email address, the page you signed up on, and the date and time you joined.

Orders. Orders are placed through our checkout, which is powered by Shopify. Your order details, delivery address and payment information are handled by Shopify and the payment providers we use. We receive your name, contact details and what you bought so we can fulfil your order.

Messages. If you contact us on Instagram or TikTok, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

We do not collect or store any card numbers. Payments are processed entirely by our payment providers.

We use your email address to send you your welcome code and occasional BODÈE news, drops and restocks. You only hear from us if you signed up, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

We use order information to dispatch your order, provide support and keep proper records required by law.

We never sell your personal data to anyone, full stop.

We only share data with the companies that help us run BODÈE:

• Shopify, who power our checkout, payments and order confirmations
• Klarna, who provide instalment payments if you choose to pay that way
• Our delivery partners, who receive the address needed to get your order to you
• Our email platform, who deliver our branded emails

Each of these only receives what they need to do their job, and they are only allowed to use it for that purpose.

Our website uses essential cookies to keep the site working and your bag intact. Our checkout uses cookies to process your order securely. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used where you have been asked and agreed.

We keep your email for as long as you are on our list, and remove it as soon as you unsubscribe. Order records are kept for six years because UK tax law requires it. Everything else is only kept as long as we genuinely need it.

Under UK data protection law you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your data
• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
